Special Nan

Hello, everyone! Thank you visiting my blog😆

I went to Himalaya Curry with my club members at Sangubashi.

There are many kind of curry and nan that you can choose. Also you can change the level of spiciness. Although I chose the lowest level because I'm not good at spicy, you try the highest level if you like spicy taste!

Not only curry but also nan is very testy. When I was small, nan was served as school lunch. So I have eaten nan a couple of times. But, this restaurant's Nan was softer that one I had eaten.

It takes only one minutes from Sangubashi station of Odakyu line.

I really recommend you visit Himalaya Curry💛

Food Planet

Hello! Thank you visiting my blog. Today, I would like to share the activity of my Food-related class. Last week we did presentations about "Food Planet".  I did a presentation about a Turkish family which is this picture. I knew many other countries' food culture and I was surprised the differences like staple foods, cost of a week and so on.  If you have time to read "Food Planet", please enjoy and compare your own food culture and the families of this book!

It explained the origin of chocolate in the chapter 1,2 and 3: how to grow cacao tree, how to enjoy chocolate ancient people and what walth the time cacao had. I was interested in the use and the importance of cacao as both drink and coinage among the ancient people, and the ritual significance of the beverage as a symbol of human blood.   In the chapter 4 and 5, he shows new era in which chocolate was transformed and creolized by the Spanish conquerors since 1521.
