I would like to introduce a restaurant review which I analyzed. Pete Wells reviews a restaurant called "Dirty French" in December 9th 2014.

Restaurant Review: Dirty French on the Lower East Side
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/12/10/dining/restaurant-review-dirty-french-on-the-lower-east-side.html?ref=dining

I think his writing style is unusual because he experssed dithes using words of play. For example, "The mille-feuille is a technical showstopper, …". He desctived the restaurant's dith as a disorienting dish that means they are not usual french dish but mixed French and Thai taste.

Also,he shread some photos that we can know the appearance of the restaurant and dishes.  Sometimes it is difficult to image things by only text so that visual images are very useful. He explained not only foods but also other aspects like neighborhood restaurants because he had review them. He puts URL of his review of others so I recommand to visit there if you are interested in them or you want to enjoy his writing!

She puts a lot of beautiful photos because she is a photographer. These pictures are very natural and colorful. she takes photos of  ingredients and how to get them so we can know what ingredients she used that makes us relief. Therefore, I think one of the good points of her blog is her attractive photos.  Secondly, her casual writing style is a good point because it makes visitors feel more c...

Today, I would like to sammary and my feeling about a book called "THE TRUE HISTORY OF CHOCOLATE” that I had recommended in this blog.   The book has nine chapters. It explained the origin of chocolate in the chapter 1,2 and 3: how to grow cacao tree, how to enjoy chocolate ancient people and what walth the time cacao had. I was interested in the use and the importance of cacao as both drink and coinage among the ancient people, and the ritual significance of the beverage as a symbol of human blood.   In the chapter 4 and 5, he shows new era in which chocolate was transformed and creolized by the Spanish conquerors since 1521. I learned food sometimes needs to face the obstacle of religion and medicine. It described people argued getting chocolate during fast was ok or not. As I don't believe in any religion eagerly, I think it better for many kind of people to be able to eat other culture food. So food has changed the wa...
